Gift Aid

Gift Aid raises vital extra funds for CancerHelp, without any cost to you.  That’s because if you are a UK taxpayer, we are able to claim back 25% of your donation from HMRC.  It means a £10 donation, becomes £12.50 with gift aid.

If you are a UK taxpayer who has donated money in the past 4 years without Gift Aid, and would like us to claim Gift Aid on any earlier, current or future donations please register your details and we can do the rest.  Please click to download a Gift Aid Declaration Form and then return it to us at CancerHelp, 22 Cromwell Road, Ribbleton, Preston, PR2 6YB.

Donation in Celebration

Should you wish to invite friends and family to make a donation to CancerHelp instead of giving gifts for a special occasion such as a wedding, anniversary or significant birthday, please call 01772 793344 and ask for donation envelopes which can then be sent out with invitations. These enable us to reclaim a further 25p for every £1 donated by UK tax payers.  Simply return the sealed envelopes to us and we will confirm how much you have raised in total after the event and Gift Aid (where applicable) has been added to that amount.

Donation In Memoriam

CancerHelp is always particularly grateful for donations made in memory of loved ones and we know that donating at this time is often a great comfort to family and friends.

Your Funeral Director can arrange a collection for you and will send the funds on to the CancerHelp in due course

Alternatively, you can request donation envelopes to be left in pews and collected as the congregation leaves.  These should be returned to CancerHelp unopened so that we can identify how much each one contains and reclaim the Gift Aid where applicable.  Please call 01772 793344 or email info@cancerhelppreston.co.uk to order envelopes.

Your Legacy – Leave a gift in your Will

Thank you for considering leaving a gift in your Will to CancerHelp (Preston) Ltd.  Making a Will and keeping it up to date is one of the most important ways of giving you peace of mind that the things and money you leave behind when you die goes to the people and causes that you care about.

CancerHelp have been supporting families affected by cancer across Central Lancashire for over 30 years.  A gift in your Will, however small, can help make sure that our support will be there for future generations of our local community facing the impact of cancer.

Of course, we understand that when making a Will, the needs of your family and loved ones will always come first.  However, once you’ve looked after those closest to you, leaving a gift to CancerHelp could make a significant difference to the lives of many more people; people in our community whose lives are affected by cancer.

There are a number of ways that you can leave a gift in your Will; here are some examples.  A Residuary gift is a share of your estate.  This gift retains its value over time and is a percentage of everything that is left over after all debts, bills, taxes and specific sum are gifted.  A Pecuniary gift (cash gift) is a specific amount of money.
